Acceptable Use
For accountable agents, not hidden abuse.
Gardien exists to make autonomous work controllable and auditable — never to legitimize harmful or deceptive automation.

Six lines you don't cross.
Unauthorized access
Credential theft, account takeover, unlawful scraping, or attempts to bypass security controls.
Malicious automation
Malware, botnets, destructive automation, covert persistence, or hiding abusive agent behavior.
Deception
Spam, phishing, impersonation, or fake verification intended to mislead a website or user.
Surveillance and harassment
Unlawful surveillance, doxxing, discrimination, or collecting sensitive data without authorization.
Financial evasion
Payment, refund, or purchasing actions that evade required approvals, legal obligations, or platform rules.
Secret mishandling
Sending passwords, private keys, API keys, or regulated records into fields not designed for secret storage.
If use of Gardien creates security, abuse, legal, or reliability risk, we may deny verifier decisions, pause or revoke passports, limit traffic, suspend accounts, remove abusive configurations, or contact affected customers and authorities when legally required.
To report abuse, contact us with the relevant passport, site, timestamp, and a concise description. Do not include live secrets in email.
